Role

You will be the first software engineering hire, reporting directly to the CTO. Now that our wet-lab operations are well established, we turn to software to dramatically improve the quality and speed of our science. We have a wishlist, but we need a creative, competent, switched-on individual to give us those items, and even solve problems we didn’t realise we had. Your first project will be building a data pipeline to efficiently store and aggregate the data produced by our experiments. You will also support the wet-lab team in programming our liquid-handling robots, and occasionally code some simple interfaces to perform data analysis. No specific experience with biology or robotics is required (you can learn them on the job!), however curiosity and enthusiasm about both topics is a must. This is a fun role for somebody that likes being a swiss-army knife, working on new challenges as they show up. The software team will scale quickly once we validate the different software use-cases, so the role has huge potential for growth.

Benefits include:
Visa support, learning & development stipend, snacks and coffee in the office, cycle to work scheme, therapy and support through Spill.app
